Q: Please settle an argument for me. My friend claims that STP gas treatment is just as effective as Techron fuel system cleaner. I use 12 ounces in my vehicle at every 3,000-mile oil change, per the STP instructions. He uses 8 ounces of Techron in his car at the same mileage intervals.
